The Inbox allows you to view your communications with booked and potential guests. Once you’ve selected a specific message, you will only see the most recent conversation. To view the full conversation, click Show all conversations

Filtering the Inbox

Actions: This drop-down menu allows you to mark messages as read or unread, mark messages as spam, and archive or unarchive messages. Archiving allows you to remove items from your messages list. If a traveller replies to a message that you have previously archived, it will show as unread in your Inbox.

All messages: This drop-down menu allows you to filter messages by status and type.

To search the Inbox, click on the search icon to search by name, email, or ResID (reservation ID).

Information in the Inbox

Guest: This includes the guest’s name and the site they used to locate your property. You can sort alphabetically by last name by clicking Guest. A traveller's contact information is displayed once their booking is confirmed.

Stay: This includes details about the enquiry or booking request, such as requested stay dates, number of nights, guest count, property name, property address, and property ID. It also includes the status of the message, whether you have replied, and how you replied (available, tentative, unavailable).

Received: This includes the type, status, and date of enquiry, booking, or booking request. The date or time shown reflects the most recent message sent by the traveller/guest. Active booking requests are always shown on top. You can also sort chronologically by clicking Received

Statuses in the Inbox

Reservation Request: This is a request to book your property if you are on 24-Hour Review. The timer reflects remaining time to accept or decline the request. One hour or more remaining displays in green, less than one hour remaining displays in red.  Enquiry: This is a message submitted by a guest/traveller using the Ask Owner/Manager a Question button on your listing. 

Pre-approved: This is a tentative reservation on your calendar that does not block calendar availability and which expires after 3 days if unpaid. Pre-approvals become confirmed reservations upon payment. 

Tentative: This is a manually added tentative reservation. This will only appear in the inbox if the guest sends a message in the conversation thread. Tentative reservations do not block calendar availability. 

Expired: This is a pre-approved reservation that expired after 3 days of non-payment.

Cancelled by traveller: This is a cancellation processed by the traveller themselves via their account. They have been refunded in accordance with your stated cancellation policy and your calendar has been updated to open the dates back up automatically.
 
Cancellation requested: This is a traveller’s request to cancel their reservation.

Cancelled: This is a cancelled reservation or a cancelled pre-approval.

Staying: This is a reservation currently in progress.

Post Stay: This is a completed reservation.
