What is my competitive set?

The comp set (competitive set) is the group of properties within your market in which we use to pull market insight data. These properties have similar features and amenities that are based on traveller searches, but we’re always working to include additional data. Continually keeping your property details and amenities up to date will help make your comp set more accurate. Comp sets are fluid and will change when properties enter and exit the market.

The default set takes into account the following:

• Proximity
• Bedrooms
• Bathrooms
• Sleeps
• Is single family home
• Has pool
• Near ocean/beach
• Children welcome
• Pets welcome

To view and manage your competitive set

1. Log in to your account.
2. If you have more than one property, select the property you wish to view.
3. Click the MarketMaker™ icon in the left navigation menu.
4. Click the comp set icon at the top of the insights graph.
5. To add a competitor, click Other properties. Locate the property you want to add and then click Add.
6. To remove a competitor, click Remove next to the property you wish to remove. After you remove it, you can still find this property in the Other properties list. You can also use the Draw rectangle tool to add or remove properties in a chosen area on the map.
